FhirLabs — Terms and Conditions

Last updated: August 3, 2026

1. What FhirLabs is

FhirLabs is a personal-use application that displays your own health information — primarily laboratory results — retrieved from your health system's patient portal through its FHIR API, after you sign in and authorize access on your health system's own login page.

2. Your data

FhirLabs retrieves your health information directly from your health system to your device and displays it there. Your data is not sent to the developer or to any third party. Authorization tokens are stored only on your device and are deleted when you sign out.

3. Not medical advice

FhirLabs displays information from your medical record for your convenience. It does not interpret results and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your healthcare provider about your results.

4. No warranty

FhirLabs is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The developer does not guarantee that the information displayed is complete, current, or error-free; your health system's patient portal remains the authoritative source of your record.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this application.

6. Revoking access

You can revoke the app's access to your health information at any time from your patient portal's security or "connected apps" settings, and/or by signing out within the app.
